Banthai Friends give kids a chance in Thailand
When Joy and Karl were married they asked friends and customers not to
buy them presents, but instead donate towards helping children in Thailand, they
raised over £1500, with this money they purchased 8 computer systems, with desks
and printers. They presented them to a village school in a rural area, giving
children who had never used a computer before, the opportunity to learn new
skills.there will soon be some web pages here on this site giving more detail.

Welcome to the
Banthai Restaurant, The translation of “Banthai” to English simply means “Thai
House”, we hope you will enjoy your stay with us in our Thai house.
Thai food is a combination of different cooking styles and flavours from many
regions of Asia, but the end results are pure Thai, no other country has the
distinct flavour and aromatic quality that Thai food
has.
We
have been serving the Fylde coast for over 9 years, in that time we have
understood that there is no
compromise on quality,
We
only source the best and freshest ingredients from local suppliers. For example
…all our fish and Poultry comes from Lannigans of Lytham who in turn source top
quality produce from
Fleetwood and local farms,
Our fruit and Vegetables are delivered daily
from local supplier Brabins of Blackpool ,
we only accept the best quality produce, Thai food is all about freshness and we
could not achieve this without the
fantastic
local supply chain
that we have.
We
make sure that fresh local produce is utilized to the full throughout our menu
with the exception of some fresh Thai herbs and spices which are flown in weekly
from Thailand ,
we know that this is what brings our customers back again and again.

We have been working with our Head Chef
"Mr Ploy"( pictured
right) designing a menu of the highest quality, Mr Ploy
comes direct from the 5 star
Oriental Hotel in Bangkok and also has experience as a business class menu
consultant for Thai airways, he brings with him a wealth of culinary
knowledge that is Thai cuisine, his creative skills and flare for flavour
will allow us to take Banthai to the next level, We will be making some
exciting new changes to the menu which we hope you will enjoy. We look forward to your
comments as it helps us to maintain the highest of standards.
